A printable is a starting point, not the finish

A printed checklist has one real advantage: it works when everything else doesn't. No battery, no signal, no login. That's why every list here prints.

But paper can't do the three things that actually change your photos. It can't reorder itself when you flag a priority. It can't show your photographer a face. And it can't tell you, at 7 p.m., that eleven of your starred shots are still outstanding while there's light left to fix it.

So use the printable as a backup, not a plan. Build the live one — it's free too — and print from it when you're done.

What's in the full template

  • Getting ready: dress hanging, details flat lay, robes, hair and makeup, with parents, with the wedding party, the first look with a parent
  • First look: approach, reaction, first moments together, portraits in that light
  • Ceremony: venue empty, processional, vows, rings, first kiss, recessional, reactions in the front rows
  • Family formals: the peel-away sequence for both sides, plus combined
  • Wedding party: full group, each side, individuals with each partner
  • Couple portraits: golden hour, venue features, any location you specifically want
  • Reception: room before guests, place settings, cake, entrances, toasts and reactions, first dance, parent dances, candids by table
  • End of night: last dance, send-off, the quiet one at the end

Roughly 110 shots. You'll cut half of them, which is the point — a good list is short and specific.

Common questions

Are these templates really free?

Yes, and there's no email wall in front of them. The live planner is also free, which makes charging for a PDF of the same content difficult to justify.

Can I edit the template?

The printable is fixed by design — it's meant to be printed and ticked with a pen. If you want to edit, add, and reorder, use the live planner and print from there.

What format are they in?

They print straight from the browser to Letter or A4. No download, no software, no Canva account.
